Kindle the warmth of the holiday season by learning how gratitude is not only good for your soul, but for your professional development. Join us for a midweek brunch buffet and a candid conversation on the benefits of Gratitude from Dr. Andrei Javier. Attendees will also tour the newly renovated Thistle Farms facility, giving everyone a chance to get a head start on holiday shopping after the tour. Presentation begins at 9:30am and the tour at 10:30am.

Dr. Andrei Javier serves as a Senior Associate, Clinical Services and Total Health Management consultant. She supports clients tackling healthcare issues and clinical strategy planning. Andrei’s interests include increasing access to health care, chronic disease management, health policy analysis, and developing new market solutions to help organizations manage the health of their employees.


Prior to joining Mercer, Andrei conducted and managed clinical research projects while serving as a post-doctoral researcher in the Nephrology Division of Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Her work centered on creating risk prediction models, clinical interventions, and improving quality of care for chronic kidney disease. She has also performed clinical care optimizing research in cardiothoracic surgery at Yale University School of Medicine. Her research has been published in peer reviewed journals including the New England Journal of Medicine and the Journal for the American Society of Nephrology. Andrei has also worked as a health policy analyst and advisor for a boutique consulting firm, working with the Senate Finance Committee and the California State Legislature to develop and analyze innovative solutions to health system problems.


Andrei earned her undergraduate degree in behavioral neuroscience from Yale University and an M.D. from Meharry Medical College. She has studied health policy at the University of Copenhagen and was a visiting research fellow at the University of Bologna. She was awarded the 2017 Nashville Emerging Leader Award in Medicine and Health Care Services by the Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce.
