Jacob Davidson

Manager,

Altria

Manager for Altria, the leading tobacco company in America. He has worked in Consumer Packaged Goods industry for 18 years. He is the Co-Secretary for the Network of Executive Women in South Texas. He has a BA in English from the University of Texas at Austin and an MBA in Finance from the University of St. Thomas.

Juliana Herman

Sr. Product Marketing Manager,

Emerson Actuation Technologies

Juliana Herman is a Sr. Product Marketing Manager for Emerson Actuation Technologies. She has over 15 years of experience in Manufacturing and over 10 years of experience in Oil & Gas. She has worked for Cameron Valves & Measurement and Curtiss-Wright Flow Control in several roles focused on expanding market presence and growing revenues through strategic planning and implementation. Juliana has substantial experience in building new programs and departments, in her most recent roles prior to Emerson she consulted on marketing strategy and launched the Houston Sales and Marketing office for Dynamic Air Shelters, an air-inflated blast resistant shelter company focused on turnaround safety in refining and petrochemical plants. 
Juliana has a B.S. in Clothing and Textiles from Virginia Tech and an MBA from Rice University. She is the current President of the Women's Masters Network, founded in Houston.

Dr. Vanessa Patrick

Professor of Marketing,

C.T.Bauer College of Business

Dr. Vanessa Patrick, an award-winning teacher and researcher, is the Bauer Professor of Marketing at the Bauer College of Business at the University of Houston. In her research she investigates strategies to achieve personal mastery and inspire everyday excellence in oneself and others. She uses the insights gleaned from this work to help leaders enhance their impact in the workplace. She is the lead faculty of the Women in Leadership Executive Program at the Bauer College of Business and is a regular speaker at organizations and conferences, including the Greater Houston Women’s Chamber of Commerce annual conference, Schlumberger, AIG, and most recently the UH Women of Color Coalition. She has been featured on ABC News and NPR as an expert in the area of self-regulation. In addition, her research has been widely featured in major news outlets like the LA Times, Forbes, Huffington Post, the Wall Street Journal, the New York Times, Scientific American and Yahoo! She is in the process of writing a book on the topic of Personal Policies and Empowered Refusal that presents novel insights based on her research to help individuals flourish in their daily lives by enhancing personal and professional productivity and well being.

Jeffrey Russell

Lecturer in Communication,

Rice, Jones Graduate School of Business

Jeff Russell is a Lecturer in Communications at Rice University's Jones Graduate School of Business, teaching communications strategy & structure, presentation skills, and writing skills to MBA students. Prior to teaching, Jeff worked as a senior consultant in Capgemini’s Digital Strategy practice, as an internal consultant for a law enforcement agency, and spent five years in the military. His experience includes communications, teaching, corporate training, executive coaching, digital transformation, strategic visioning, operating model and governance design, and organizational change management. As a management consultant and coach, Jeff has worked in the oil and gas, financial services, telecom, quick service restaurants, and government industries.

Jeff holds both an MBA and a BA in Classics and Ancient History from the University of Texas.
